Founded in 1985, W.R. Hopping & Company is a nationally recognized hospitality industry consulting and appraisal firm.

Our work philosophy comes from an operational base. Bill Hopping spent 14 years in operations before entering the field as a consultant. His operational experience includes many different positions at all levels of the restaurant, club, hotel and resort industry.

Our goal is to provide realistic, factually based services that enable clients to make informed decisions. This is supported by the company's well developed database, a hospitality industry specialization, and a contact base which has evolved from long-term industry presence. Most importantly, at W.R. Hopping & Company, Bill Hopping is intimately involved with each assignment. This places your assignment with a consultant with over 30 years of hospitality industry experience and a solutions oriented mentality.

The company is also a sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report, a study of hotel/motel occupancies and average daily rates in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The study is widely used in the Rocky Mountain West, and is endorsed by the Lodging Association in each of the four states.

In addition to W.R. Hopping & Company, Bill also served as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen, and is a founding member and Chairman Emeritus of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC). He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).
